Flowsaber - Jedi lightsaber for real battles

On the site of Kickstarter appeared a project of an unusual sports equipment - and almost instantly raised the funds necessary to launch it into production.

This Flowsaber - the world's first "Jedi" stunt sword for martial arts, performance and cosplay. The developers emphasize that this is not a mock-up, not a toy and not a souvenir - it's a full-fledged sparring projectile. As a basis for its design was taken a classic European long sword.

Weight Flowsaber is 900 grams - it accurately reproduces the mass and maneuverability of the combat sword. The blade is made of durable polycarbonate and is suitable for full-contact sparring. As wear, the blade can be changed.

The handle of the sword is made of aviation aluminum and is capable of absorbing vibrations of excessively powerful impacts. It has a thickness of 2.5 centimeters and perfectly balances the blade of Flowsaber. Also included is a button for the LED backlight module, which gives the sword a bright glow (red, blue, blue, green, white and amber for the user's choice). The module is powered by a lithium-ion battery, which lasts for 3 hours.

Manufacturers offer two variations of the sword. The first, Sparring - is heavier, stronger and suitable for training battles in full force. The second, Flow - is easier, more maneuverable and is designed to perform tricks and theatrical battles.

Deliveries of Flowsaber will begin in June this year, and the price of the sword will be $ 299.
